Conducting
The graduate conducting program at the University of Arkansas is taught by nationally and internationally recognized conductors and educators. The program is divided into two concentrations: instrumental conducting and choral conducting.
Graduate students in the conducting program work one-on-one with faculty members to hone their skills in conducting through direction of small and large ensembles. In addition to academic classes and performance-based work, students present conducting projects through live performance.
The conducting plans lead to a Master of Music in Conducting with either a concentration in instrumental or choral studies.
